National Safety Month
June 1 – June 30 CDT
National Safety Month, observed in June and sponsored by the National Safety Council, raises awareness about important safety issues. Injuries are a leading cause of disability for people of all ages, and they are the leading cause of death for Americans ages 1 to 44.
National Safety Month spreads the word about ways to reduce the risk of injuries and encourages communities, workplaces, families, and individuals to identify and report safety hazards.
