Autistic Pride Day
Autistic Pride Day, June 18, is a day to celebrate the children all over the world who suffer from autism. The objective of Autistic Pride Day is to shift from seeing autism as a disease to a ‘difference’. On Autistic Pride Day, Autistics participating celebrate Autistic identity and pride. This often includes celebrations of Autistic culture and community.
Autistic Pride Day shows that the people who suffer from autism exhibit diversity in how they express their neurological behavior.
