National Public Health Week observed in April and sponsored by the American Public Health Association, recognize the contributions and importance of public health. This year the theme of the National Public Health Week is Healthiest Nation 2030: Changing Our Future Together. National Public Health Week occures during the first full week of April each year.

National Public Health Week brings together communities across the United States to recognize the contributions of public health and highlight issues that are important to improving our nation. For nearly twenty years, the American Public Health Association has served as the organizer of this awareness week.
