Go Red for Women, observed in February and sponosored by the American Heart Association, is a national public awareness day that is celebrated on the first Friday of February. This very important public health campaign urges women and men, businesses, towns, schools, the media, buildings and landmarks to GO RED and GLOW RED to bring attention to the leading killers of women - heart disease and stroke.
Go Red for Women and raise awareness to save women's lives from heart disease and stroke by wearing something red - a red dress, tie, jacket, scarf, hat, blouse, shirt or red awareness ribbon pin.
