Stomach Cancer Awareness Month
Stomach Cancer Awareness Month, observed in November, is a time to increase awareness of stomach cancer, the need for a cure after diagnosis, and to spur advoacy on behalf of those suffering with the emotional, financial and physical burden of stomach cancer.
In 2010, No Stomach For Cancer, Inc. successfully championed and celebrated the first official Stomach Cancer Awareness Month in the United States. Additionally, the Surgeon General made Thanksgiving Day National Family History Day, emphasizing the importance of knowing one’s hereditary risks for disease, one of the risk factors for stomach cancer.
The awareness color for Stomach Cancer is periwinkle blue. Personalized Cause supports Stomach Cancer Awareness Month with a stomach cancer periwinkle blue awareness ribbon, stomach cancer periwinkle blue personalized awareness ribbon pins, stomach cancer periwinkle blue fabric awareness ribbons and stomach cancer periwinkle blue awareness bracelets.
