World Vegan Day is celebrated in November. World Vegan Day was established in 1994 by Louise Wallis, then President and Chair of the Vegan Society UK. World Vegan Day is observed annually. Veganism is the practice of abstaining from the use of animal products, particularly in diet, as well as an associated philosophy that rejects the commodity status of sentient animals.
Every year on November 1, vegans around the world celebrate and champion for their vegan lifestyle. According to many acclaimed vegans, the lifestyle is beneficial for the health of the human beings, not to mention that it fosters environmental protection and protects the lives of animals.
The awareness color for Animal Protection and Welfare is Purple.
