National Food Safety Education Month takes place in September and is sponsored by the Partnership for Food Safety Education.

National Food Safety Education Month was created in 1994 to heighten the awareness of food safety education. Each year, National Food Safety Education Month features a new theme for the restaurant and foodservice industry to help reinforce proper food safety practices and procedures.
